How much does it cost?
It depends on the weight, the reach distance, the height and the time on site. Call us with those details and we’ll give you an estimate.
How much space does the truck need?
The truck’s length plus the width of the open outriggers. The fleet table lists the figure for each truck. If access is tight, send us photos and we’ll check.
How is it different from a telescopic crane?
A knuckle boom folds, so it works in tight sites and reaches over obstacles. It also carries the load on its own bed, so you don’t need a separate truck to haul it.
What do you need to quote?
What the load is, its approximate weight, the distance from where the truck parks, the height, the town and the date. Site photos help a lot.
Do you work outside the metro area?
Yes. We work across the whole island. Call us to schedule a date for your town.ex.
Do you visit the site before the job?
We review site photos first. If access or the maneuver needs it, we schedule a visit.
Do I need a permit for the truck to use the street?
In some cases the municipality requires one. Ask when you request a quote and we’ll review your case.
How far ahead do I need to book?
It depends on the schedule. Call with your date and we’ll confirm availability.
What if there are wires or trees nearby?
We check when evaluating the site and plan where the truck parks and where the boom passes.
